I’m thankful for you because being uniquely you complements me. You challenge me. You encourage me. You make me laugh when I'm sad. I love to giggle with you at your jokes, and your wisdom makes me proud! Your warm spirit can enliven even a cloudy day, and every personal exchange means the world to me. Yes, this Thanksgiving, I’m very thankful for you.

And I'm thankful, too, for everyone near and everyone around the globe who has blessed my life over the years.

Most of all, I am thankful for the opportunity to fulfill my purpose in the world by bringing some joy and meaning to this chaotic world of suffering and struggle by sharing my experience, wisdom, and hope with you.

Most importantly, it is our relationships that enrich us and bless us with an authentic zest for living. Family relationships, partnerships, mastermind groups and online forums, are all important social support systems for which I am incredibly thankful.

I love hearing from you! Whether you call, text or send me an email, I cherish each and every connection. I love knowing that I've made a difference in your life, and I want you to know that you have made a difference in my life as well.

On a personal note, our family has had its share of challenges just like you. We recently worried through an open heart surgery for one of our sons, our daughter is bravely fighting stage IV cancer with another round of chemo, and yet we are so thankful that we have the closeness of family for sharing and support.

I’m thankful for the family phone calls and text messages, the shared and treasured recipes, and that we have the wisdom to speak softly whenever we feel the normal frustrations and disagreements. Relationships are rarely without conflict and disagreements, but we are thankful that we can disagree with love.

This year I also said goodbye to several dear friends. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to know you and love you. I miss you deeply, but as often as I think of you, I smile. To the families of those dear friends, I wish you comfort, love, and support as you travel on without your loved ones.

As we celebrate the reason in this season for Thanksgiving, along with me, please count your blessings great and small. Celebrate the closeness of warm friendships and above all, remember to love and be thankful!

Blessings,
